Parallels Server for Mac Released

SWsoft’s producer software for web hosting industry has released the Parallels Server Beta version. The company says that before the release of Beta version it showed its alpha version code of Parallels Server for Mac for the first time ever.

Parallels Server is the only virtualization solution that allows users to run Windows and Linux in virtual servers “at the same time as Mac OS X Server, all at the same time, on the same Intel-powered XServe”.

It can be run run on any Windows, Linux or Mac OS X based x86 or 64-bit server via Parallels lightweight hypervisor mode or bare-metal mode.

The server sotware supports any combination of more than 50 different OS operating systems running simultaneously in isolated virtual machines. Windows Server 2003 and 2008, Red Hat Linux, SUSE Enterprise Linux and Sun Solaris are among supported OS. The producer says that its solution helps businesses to reduces hardware expenditures and operating costs and simplifies back-end IT management.
