<description><![CDATA[I have to admit, I didn't see this one coming, it looks like Sun Microsystems has purchased MySQL  AB, the company behind the development of the popular MySQL database software, for 1 billion dollars, wowa4  As many of you know, while I respect Oracle, my choice for 99% of all projects that I develop is MySQL, I guess that's just where my loyalties lie because that's what I was brought up using but after having been exposed to MS SQL, PostGRE, and a few others, MySQL is still my out and out favorite Database.
